Beaverton has given the go-ahead to an 89-room hotel and retail development in the city’s northwest.
Home2 Suites by Hilton and the retail space will be at the northeast corner of Northwest Barnes Road and 118th Avenue, across from another commercial development anchored by Market of Choice.
The Planning Commission approved the plan for Kirkland Place on a 6-0 vote, which stands unless appealed to the City Council. But the panel did so only after the developer proposed changes to lessen the effects of traffic on a residential subdivision directly to the east on Northwest 117th Loop. . . . read full article here
