A set of four-story apartment buildings, each with approximately 73 units, and an 82-room Holiday Inn Express are the next projects in the lineup at the 6-acre mixed-use development that’s been taking shape over several years around Southeast 192nd Avenue and 20th Street near the Vancouver-Camas border.
This week a subsidiary of Kirkland Development filed a pre-application with the city of Vancouver for the two-building apartment project called 192nd Station West Lofts near the southwest corner of 192nd Avenue and 20th Street, adjacent to the Candlewood Suites. The application calls for each building to contain a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, with 216 parking spaces on surface lots or in carports.
